Mike Buck’s Record Riot! Known for providing the driving back beat behind The Fabulous Thunderbirds (’76-’80), LeRoi Brothers and most recently Eve and The Exiles.

He has backed everyone from Lazy Lester, Lightnin' Hopkins, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and Bo Diddley.

Aside from that he is a hoss in the record collecting scene (owner of Antones Records). He shows off his knowledge of blues and garage every Monday on his “Blue Monday with Mike Buck” radio show 7-9p www.sunradio.com.


Austin-based Eve and the Exiles play Nuggets-worthy, hot and dirty Texas garage rock-blues that sounds like the soundtrack to a wild '60s frat party. The group formed in 2002, led by drummer Mike Buck and singer and guitar slinger Eve Monsees.  

They will be promoting their new release, “You Know She Did”. She plays lead guitar on this raunch & roll album along with Mike Buck, Pat Collins and Thierry Le Coz. This is 12 sticks of sonic dynamite! Their taut rhythm section snorts out both prime era Yardbirds, Pretty Things ("One Glass," "Follow the Thread") and grinding, Chess Records- drenched blues ("Mr. Devil, Parts 1 & 2").
They just played in New Orleans as one of the house bands for the 2015 Ponderosa Stomp. They backed up Billy Boy Arnold, P.F. Sloan, Augie Meyers, Lenny Kaye, and Roy Head."
