Rather than giving you my story written by some stranger, I wanted to write it myself and share everything with you from my perspective. Though it may not be perfect, it's direct from my heart to your heart and I hope you enjoy. So… here we go :)

Hi, I'm Megan.

I'm a singer/songwriter and musician.

As a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut (or a mermaid, but who am I kidding, I would still totally be one if that was a real job). Music was always a part of my life. I played piano for many years growing up, but it wasn't until high school when I first picked up the guitar that I fell in love. I knew then there was nothing else I wanted to pursue. Something just clicked. When I started creating music there was no going back for me. I remember telling my parents that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Create.

Family is important to me. You'll always see a member of my family supporting me wherever I may go. My parents have always been there and in the beginning would help me by driving me to open mic nights after school. I worked hard to be able to play at local restaurants and outdoor malls. Christmas 2009 my dad got me a new guitar after seeing this wasn't going to be just a phase. I traded in "Pawn Shop" (what I named my first guitar, since I got it from a local pawnshop. Good 'ole Pawn Shop) and got the guitar I would eventually make my first real YouTube video with. A cover of "Use
Somebody" by Kings of Leon. I never would've guessed in a million years that YouTube would become the platform for me to share my music with the world.

It's crazy to think that this girl from Katy, Texas has been blessed to travel and perform in places around the globe. Places I could never even imagine going to, let alone play my music at! My fans are the ones who discovered me and who continue to inspire me. They are the reason I get to do what I love each day! I'm thankful to be on this journey and to have my fans supporting me along the way. I'm excited to continue to create new music and meet new people each day.

For the past few years I've been living in LA while working on new music and I'm SO excited for the release of my album ESCAPE coming October 14th! I can't wait to share these songs and stories with everyone and continue to tour, perform, and create.

My Loves: Pink, Glitter, NFL, Taco Bell, Mtn Dew, lip gloss, Mario Kart, Call of Duty, Bows, Pina Colada scented things, Star Wars, Reading, Grandma-like sweaters (you know, those oversized comfy
sweaters), the Beach, discovering new music, Disney Land, flipping the pillow over to the cool side, candles, balloons, Batman, penguins, Mexican Food, tutus, combat boots…these are a few of my favorite things.
