About Mardi Gras Kickoff with CJ Chenier & The Red Hot Lousiana Band
Born in Port Arthur, TX, Clayton Joseph Chenier is the son of the King Of Zydeco Clifton Chenier. He joined his father's band as saxophonist in 1978, then switched to accordian in 1985. When Clifton died in 1987, C.J. became the leader of the Red Hot Louisana Band.
