Lindsay Beaver & The 24th St. Wailers

It's rare to see a drummer who sings and leads a band. It's even rarer to see one that sings like Wilson Pickett, drums like Earl Palmer, and does so while standing. Born and raised in Canada, Lindsay Beaver has made her second home in Austin, Texas. When she is not on the road with her main project, Juno-nominated (Canadian Grammy) Rock and Roll/Soul band The 24th Street Wailers, Lindsay focuses on her namesake swing and blues band, as well as singing and drumming with local Austin musicians (even a few songs with Jimmie Vaughan once in a while).
