Crossing paths in a local cover band, Jeff Jacobs Band was formed in San Antonio by veteran singer/songwriter Jeff Jacobs (Distorted Reality, Thumbs Revenge) and Nathan Schmidt (Vendetta Mine) in the winter of 2012. Jeff Jacobs Band was born of a shared vision of taking soulful songwriting and wrapping it in engaging music that is as interesting to listen to as is to contemplate all the words of each lovingly crafted song. To build out the band, an online ad hit pay-dirt by finding CJ Gore (Rockus Circus, The Standouts) who answered the ad and the three hit it off. Struggling to find the guitar sound they were looking for, while it seemed obvious in hindsight, they called up their friend and former band mate Jeff Cox (40 Days, Vendetta Mine). After one rehearsal the group knew he was the right man for the job.

Jeff Jacobs Band continues to strengthen and take their show on the road, picking up new fans every time they play, now in support of their latest independent, self-titled release, backed by San Antonio’s legendary producer, Mack Damon.
