“CIW”, is a non-profit corporation whose mission and goal is to
assist in the development and implementation of a workers’ compensation system that employers, employees, health care providers, and insurance carriers can accept as an affordable, workable, equitable, and fair means of caring for employees injured in the course and scope of employment and safely returning them to work in the most expedient manner.  CIW committed itself to working with the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC formally, TWCC), insurance carriers, injured employees, health care providers, support services, attorneys, and employers to effectively and efficiently optimize the application of the Act and Rules.
