Location
This urban wine inspired restaurant is located in the heart of San Antonio in the most successful lifestyle center, The Quarry Market.  Located just 5 miles north of the Riverwalk, and minutes south of the airport, The Quarry Market is the place to be.  We are located on the Jones-Maltsberger side of the Quarry, in the same building as Harold’s. 
 
The Wine
The restaurant name was inspired by Highway 29 that runs from Carneros to Calistoga through Napa Valley.  The oversized patio with a 12 foot water fountain creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy wine and appetizers or a four course dinner.  The bar and lounge area offers a trendy, stylish, urban setting for serious wine drinkers to sit back and enjoy a “Road Trip.”    “Road Trips” offer three 2oz tastes of wine that are grouped by region, varietal, or style.  All road trips arrive with tasting notes for the consumer to refer to as they are sipping each glass.  Customers can also enjoy a selection of more than 60 wines by the glass, over 300 bottles and artisan beer.  Every wine is served at proper temperature in Stölzle crystal stemware.
 
The Food
Executive Chef, Stephan Bower, will create an eclectic cuisine to achieve flavorful wine pairings.  20nine Restaurant & Wine Bar will specialize in wine country cuisine, using only the finest ingredients.  The menu selections will include chicken, pork, duck, fish, and steak entrees.  Our European sized portions will allow our guest to save room for dessert. Changing the menu seasonally will allow Chef Bower to showcase seasonal fruits, vegetables, and meats.
